How to File a Claim for a Damaged or Lost Shipment

If your shipment arrived damaged—or never arrived at all—you can file a claim by following the steps below.

We will coordinate with the carrier (UPS, FedEx, or DHL) on your behalf, so please send all claim-related materials directly to us.

Step 1: Send an Email to Customer Support

To initiate a claim, send an email to: CustomerService@corporatefreightsavers.com
Include the tracking number in the subject line. Use a clear subject, for example:

"Claim – Damaged Package [Tracking Number]"

* "Claim – Lost Package [Tracking Number]"

Step 2: Provide Required Information and Documentation

In the body of the email, please include or attach:

1. Invoice

A copy of the invoice showing the value of the item(s).

2. Merchandise Description

A detailed description of the product(s): brand, model, color, size, serial number (if applicable), quantity, and, if available, weight.
For lost shipments, include as many specifics as possible to help locate the package.

3. Photos (for Damaged Packages)

Three clear, high-quality photos:

The damaged item(s) from multiple angles.
The shipping label (with the tracking number visible).
If available, include before-and-after photos to demonstrate the change in condition.

The Address Book is where you’ll store all your frequent shipping addresses and contact info.

You may access the Address Book page by heading over to the Address Book tab.

Your company address will be automatically added to your address book.

The Create Address dialogue will appear. You have the option of saving the address to the User or the Company Address Book. Addresses saved to the Company Address Book will be visible to the entire company.

The admin Page is where you will manage invoices, manage users and roles, and order supplies.

To access your admin features, head over to the Admin tab.

To view an Invoice, click the View Invoice icon on that invoice row.

Setting Up UPS API Credentials for Shipping

Step 1: Access the UPS Developer Portal

Go to UPS Developer Portal.
Log in with your UPS account credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Apps Section

Once logged in, locate and click on the "Apps" or "My Apps" section.
⚠️ Note: If you encounter issues using Google Chrome, try using Firefox for better compatibility.

Step 3: Create a New App

In the Apps section, click on "Add Apps >" to create a new application.
Complete the form with the following details:

"I need API credentials because" - Select "I want to integrate UPS technology into my business."
Account Association - Select your UPS shipper account number.
API Access Agreement - Check the box to agree.

Click Continue to proceed.

Step 4: Enter App Details

On the App Details screen, fill out the following:

App Name: Choose a name for your integration (e.g., "My Shipping App").
Callback URL: Enter https://ship.shipboss.io
Billing Account Number: Should be pre-populated with your UPS account number.

The account settings page is where you will set your default settings, create custom box dimensions, create references, and configure additional settings.

To navigate to your settings page, click the user initials icon in the upper right corner of your screen and select Settings.

Reminder! Be sure to click Save at the bottom of the Settings page to save your configurations.
