# Logging in for the first time

To log into ShipBoss for the first time, go to [ship.shipboss.io/ship](https://ship.shipboss.io/ship) and select **Forgot Your Password**.

You will be prompted to enter your username. Enter your email address in the username field and click **Reset my Password**.

After Clicking **Reset** you will receive an email with a temporary code.

Enter the code in the prompt screen along with your new password.

1.  Check your spam
    

1.  Respond to the email letting us know or email,

### ${color}[#294C75]( **Temporary Password Reset Instructions**)

When sent a temporary password from our team, **make sure you are not clicking on **_**forgot password**_** but entering it in the password field.**

Once you’ve entered the temporary password and your email address by “username” you will be prompted to set a permanent password.

### ${color}[#294C75]( **Terms of Use and Privacy Policy**)

After logging in, you will be brought to the **Terms of Use and Privacy Policy** page. Once you click **I Accept**, you will be brought to the **Ship** page where you may create shipments.
